PNG Price Hike: Today RBI has given the shock of expensive loans to the people. On the other hand, Indraprastha Gas Limited has put another shock of inflation to the people by increasing the price of piped natural gas. IGL has increased the price of PNG (Piped Natural Gas). IGL has increased the price of PNG by Rs 2.63 per SCM unit.
Why IGL increased the price of PNG
IGL has argued that the company has increased the prices of PNG due to increase in input cost. After this, the price of PNG in Delhi has increased by Rs 2.63 to Rs 50.59/- per SCM.

MGL increased the prices of CNG-PNG in Mumbai on August 3
Mumbai city gas distributor Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has increased the price of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) by Rs 6 per kg. Along with this, it has been announced to increase the price of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) by Rs 4 per unit with immediate effect. This was the second hike in prices in a month. This increase has been implemented from 3 August.
CNG-PNG prices are increasing continuously
Let us inform that since 75 days in the country, oil marketing companies have not made any change in the price of petrol and diesel, but the price of CNG and PNG is being increased continuously by gas companies like IGL, MGL and GAIL. Gas companies are citing increase in input cost behind this.
