Birsa Munda Birth Anniversary: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday (November 15) claimed that the BJP attacks the Constitution every day as it does not want to accept that Dalits, tribals and the poor should get rights.
Addressing a public meeting in Maharashtra’s Washim district on the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda, Rahul Gandhi said, “Tribals are the original owners of the country and their rights come first.” .
‘BJP attacks the constitution’
Rahul Gandhi alleged that the ideals of Birsa Munda are being attacked from all sides by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP. He claimed, “BJP attacks the Constitution every day because it does not want to accept that Dalits, Adivasis and the poor should get rights.” BJP is attacking that constitution from all sides.

‘No Ordinary Day’
Rahul Gandhi said that this is not an ordinary day. Birsa Munda ji fought with the British and was killed by the British at the age of 24. Whatever he had to do, he did it in 24 years. Let us inform that Congress’s “Bharat Jodo Yatra” under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi has reached Washim district of Vidarbha region after Hingoli in Maharashtra.
What is Bharat Jodo Yatra?
Bharat Jodo Yatra will pass through 12 states before ending in Jammu and Kashmir after covering a distance of 3,570 km in about 150 days. At present, this journey, which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, has so far passed through 28 districts of six states. The yatra will cover a distance of 382 km, contacting people in five districts of Maharashtra, before entering Madhya Pradesh on November 20.
