Rajasthan Jewelery Stolen From Ajmer Dargah: A major incident of theft has happened in the dargah of the world famous Khwaja Garib Nawaz located in Ajmer. Unknown thief (Thief) stole jewelery worth Rs 20 lakh from a Zareen’s bag who had come to visit the Dargah. The victim of the incident has become a Zareen of Delhi. In this case, the Dargah police station has registered a case and started investigation.
Incident happened during Ziyarat in Astane
Syed Mohammad Natiq gave a complaint in the Dargah police station and told that his guest Moin Qureshi, a resident of New Delhi Defense Colony, had reached Ajmer on Monday for Dargah Ziyarat along with his wife Naseem Moin Qureshi. During Ziyarat inside the dargah, an unknown thief stole jewelery worth Rs 20 lakh from the bag. The bag contained a necklace, ear earrings and other jewellery. Seeing the opportunity in the midst of the crowd, the thief carried out the crime. The Zareen family had reached Ajmer for Ziyarat after their marriage in Jaipur. After Ziyarat, the Zareen family returned to Delhi. On the complaint of Zareen’s representative, the Dargah police station has registered a case.
CCTV cameras not installed in sleeves
Major incidents of theft are happening in the dargah. The main reason for this is that there is no CCTV installed there. Thieves are taking advantage of this and committing theft. The Dargah Committee has requested the police administration several times to install CCTV cameras in its sleeves, but till date the cameras have not been installed.
