Rajasthan NewsRajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team arrested some people on charges of corruption on Thursday. Three people including the Chief Fire Officer of Jaipur Municipal Corporation and the Agriculture Supervisor in Hanumangarh have been arrested.

Director General of the Bureau Bhagwan Lal Soni said that the team arrested Jagdish Phulwari, Chief Fire Officer of Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater, through his driver Shravan Kumar, taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant. At the same time, in another case, in Hanumangarh district, agricultural supervisor (Gram Panchayat Malwani) Dayaram was arrested. A complainant has been arrested while taking a bribe of Rs 15,000.

The Director General of the Bureau said that in the first case the complaint was made by the complainant. The complaint stated that Jagdish Phulwari, Chief Fire Officer of Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater, demanded a bribe of Rs one lakh in lieu of issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) in respect of fire fighting equipment installed by his firm. He is being harassed.

Bhagwan Lal Soni told that after verifying the complaint, the bureau team arrested the accused Phulwari driver Shravan Kumar on Thursday while taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant. The accused Jagdish Phulwari has also been arrested. He said that during the verification of the complaint by the accused, 50 thousand rupees were recovered from the complainant as bribe through a broker.

In the second case, the complaint was made on behalf of the complainant. It was told in the complaint that in lieu of getting the file of his diggi construction passed, the accused agricultural supervisor Dayaram is being harassed by demanding a bribe of 40 thousand rupees. The team arrested the accused red handed while taking a bribe of 15 thousand rupees from the complainant. He told that during the verification of the complaint by the accused, five thousand rupees were taken from the complainant as a bribe.
