Keoladeo National Park: There is always a shortage of water in Keoladeo National Park located in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Birds going elsewhere due to lack of water

Here migratory birds camp to breed the pet storks and feed on fish, vegetation from the waters of the lakes and feed their newborn babies. Due to the dryness of the lakes, the birds are not getting anything to eat, so the birds are going to other places.
There is no permanent solution to water in Keoladeo National Park. Water is available only with the help of rain. In the first rains, the Ajan dam of Bharatpur used to receive water from the Gambhir river and the flood Ganges, and the Ajan dam supplied water to the national park, but after the Panchna dam was built at Karauli, the water in the Gambhir river and the flooded Ganges river. The arrival is less, due to which there is a shortage of water in the Ajan dam as well. When the Panchna dam is waterlogged above the danger mark, the water from there is released into the Gambhir river and supplied to the park after the water from the Gambhir river enters the Ajan dam.
Chambal water will be supplied
Now in view of the scarcity of water in Keoladeo National Park, Chambal water which is supplied by the district administration to the people for drinking, will be stopped and Chambal water will be supplied to the lakes of Keoladeo National Park, due to which the migratory bird Patent Stork Keoladeo Can camp in the park.
Garden lakes will be filled with Chambal water
In view of the scarcity of water in Keoladeo National Park, the district administration has taken a big decision. In view of the pre-monsoon, birds have started coming to Keoladeo National Park. Due to lack of water in Keoladeo National Park, he is camping in the surrounding areas where the water is full. In view of this, water will be released in Ghana Bird Sanctuary by shutting off the supply of Chambal water to the general public for a few days.
What does the District Collector have to say
A meeting of Ghana Bird Sanctuary Administration, District Administration, Water Supply Department was held. After the meeting, Collector Alok Ranjan told that some birds have come to Keoladeo National Park in view of pre-monsoon, but there is no water in Keoladeo National Park yet. Therefore a meeting has been held with the officials of the Chambal project. If the water reaches the national park at this time, the birds will nest. After nesting, the birds stay in the Keoladeo National Park for a long time, which attracts a lot of tourists to see which the economy runs. Therefore the water coming from Chambal project will be given to Keoladeo National Park.
So far this year, Chambal has not been given in Keoladeo National Park. Today water will be given to Ghana Bird Sanctuary. Today the water supply of Chambal will be closed for the general public. Water will be made available for the common man again on 26th and 27th. After which again on 28th Chambal water will be given to Keoladeo National Park.
