Rajasthan Panchayat Assistants: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given a gift to the panchayat assistants. Panchayat assistants will now get 21 thousand every month by increasing the honorarium. The proposal for increase in honorarium has been sent to the state government. It is expected that the Gehlot government will seal the proposal soon. After getting the green signal from the state government, the honorarium of panchayat assistants will increase from Rs 7920 to Rs 21 thousand. The decision of the government will benefit 27000 panchayat assistants.

Pali’s Panchayat Assistant Kailash Gaur told that earlier also a proposal to increase the honorarium had been sent to the state government. In that proposal, a demand was made to increase the salary of Panchayat assistants to Rs 12000. But that proposal was not accepted by the state government. However, still no green signal has been received from the state government. But hopefully something will change.
