Rupee Vs Dollar: After a slight improvement in the rupee, today again weakness is seen dominating. Today, the Indian rupee has fallen by 4 paise to Rs 78.17 per dollar against the dollar in early trade. Due to the fall in the domestic stock market and the strengthening of the US dollar, the rupee fell by four paise to 78.17 in early trade on Wednesday. The rupee had closed at 78.13 on Tuesday.
In the Interbank Foreign Currency Exchange market, the rupee opened at 78.13 against the US dollar, then fell to 78.17 with a weak trend, showing a decline of four paise against the previous closing price. However, forex traders said the fall in the rupee was limited due to lower crude oil prices in the international market.
