The Supreme Court will hear today the petition of medical students who left Ukraine in the beat due to the war. The Central Government, while filing a reply on the matter, had said that it is not possible to admit these students in medical colleges of India by law. These people can complete the degree in another country with the consent of their college in Ukraine. Now there will be further hearing.
2. On the petition of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind against the bulldozer action
The Supreme Court will today hear the petition filed in the Supreme Court against the bulldozer action in different cases. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind had put up a petition for this hearing. Jamiat has said that these bulldozers are being run without proper legal process. In this, the intention is to teach a lesson to more people by removing illegal constructions. In most places, a particular community is being targeted specifically.
3. On the application of BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain
Today the Supreme Court will hear the petition of BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain. Shahnawaz has challenged the order of the Delhi High Court to register an FIR for rape. Earlier, the Supreme Court had stayed the order of the High Court, giving them relief. In a 2018 case, the High Court had ordered the Delhi Police to register an FIR and complete the investigation in three months. On the other hand, Shahnawaz has consistently called these allegations completely false.
