Samastipur: On Monday, there was a havoc of high speed in the district, where a representative of a newspaper died on the spot in a horrific road accident. The deceased has been identified as Suman Kumar Singh, a resident of Rambagh in Muzaffarpur. He was working in Bhagalpur. At the same time, due to Suman’s body being on the middle road in the accident, there was a long queue of vehicles due to jam on both sides for about an hour. However, the villagers who reached the spot removed the body from the road and informed the police.

According to the information received, Suman Singh had left for Munger on his bike from home. Meanwhile, a speeding bike (on which two youths were riding) coming from Dalsinghsarai on NH 28 located in Chandchaud Central Panchayat of Ujiarpur police station hit the rider from the front. The collision was so intense that Suman died a painful death on the spot. At the same time, both the youths riding on the other bike were injured.

Local people informed the family

The local people gathered after the incident informed the police. Due to Suman’s body being on the middle road in the accident, the road was blocked from both sides for about an hour. However, the villagers present on the spot kept the body on the side of the road and got the traffic started. The villagers have informed the family about the incident by calling on the number of his family recorded in the identity card received from Suman.

Police seized both the bikes

Here, on getting information about the incident, the police station in-charge Anil Kumar, after paperwork, sent the body to Sadar Hospital Samastipur for post-mortem. In this regard, SHO Anil Kumar told that both the bikes have been confiscated and brought to the police station. If the relatives of the deceased apply, then further action will be taken.
