Sehore News: Mass marriage ceremony was held in Nasrullaganj tehsil of Sehore district. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who became a part of the program, said that he does not welcome himself in the marriage of daughters, but goes to welcome the bride and groom. They stopped the local public representatives who had come to welcome themselves in the mass marriage program. It is noteworthy that in the tribal-dominated village of Piplani, 310 Gond and 101 Korku Samaj couples tied the knot.

Chief Minister Shivraj blessed the bride and groom after reaching the marriage convention organized under the Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah Yojana. The Chief Minister said that to make the girl marriage scheme more useful, the amount has been increased to 55 thousand. Now from organizing the wedding, almost all the items of household needs can be given to the newly married couple. An amount of 11 thousand rupees is also put in the account of the bride so that no essential item is left behind.

He said that the purpose of this scheme is to remove the worries of the marriages of the daughters of poor families and get married happily without taking any loan. Blessing the daughters, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that always be happy, keep a smile on your face, never let thorns in your feet. All daughters take care of both the families. He also urged the grooms to keep the daughters with love and respect.

At the time of farewell to the daughters, he blessed them by singing the song ‘Babul ki duyain leti ja’. The Chief Minister said that apart from the marriage of daughters and sons of tribal groups, the expenses of higher education, including housing, ration, health, would be supported by the maternal uncle at every turn.

Impressed by BJP MP Sampatia Uike’s address in Parsi language, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government would make all efforts to preserve the tribal language and culture. He told that it is an honor to never leave our language and culture.

In the program, the Chief Minister presented a token check of Rs 11 thousand to 10 daughters. He gave 32-inch LED TV, a table fan, 51 utensils, bed linen, bridal clothes, makeup items and silver jewelery from the state government to the newlyweds. People’s representatives from the tribal areas of the entire state participated in the Chief Minister Kanyadan Sammelan.

In the mass marriage program, the attractive dance performance of the cultural group from Betul and Maharashtra captivated the people present. The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 25,000 each to both the cultural parties. BJP MP Sampatiya Uike also announced to give 10 thousand rupees to cultural parties.

The Chief Minister presented citation and trophy to 49 tribal students who got first division in class 10th and 12th. In the program, more than 50 thousand processions made the mass marriage conference grand and wonderful. The marriage started with the worship of Kanya and ended with the farewell of the daughter. Food Minister Bisahulal Singh, Vidisha MP Ramakant Bhargava also addressed the program.
