SpiceJet News Update: The company’s first reaction has come to the fore regarding the registration of a case of fraud against unknown people including SpiceJet’s promoter and MD Ajay Singh. Terming the alleged fraud complaint against Ajay Singh as “completely bogus”, Spiget has said that it will file a defamation suit against the complainant. Gurugram Police on Monday filed a complaint on the complaint of Amit Arora in the matter related to share transfer.
A spokesperson of the airline company issued a statement saying, “Liquor dealer Amit Arora has filed a false and completely bogus complaint with the Gurugram Police with the intention of maligning the image of SpiceJet and Ajay Singh.” The spokesperson of the airline also said that neither Ajay Singh nor any person related to the airline has met complainant Amit Arora and no written agreement has been reached between them.
A SpiceJet spokesperson said, “We are confident that the truth will come out in the police investigation and the FIR registered against him will be quashed. A defamation case will be filed against the complainant by SpiceJet and Ajay Singh.”

Let us tell you that the complainant Amit Arora has alleged in his complaint that Ajay Singh had given fake Depository Instruction Slip (DIS) of 10 lakh shares for the services rendered to him. The complainant said that Singh had promised him one million shares of SpiceJet. These shares were to be given to Arora in return for the services rendered by him. For this Ajay Singh had given depository instruction slip, which was later declared invalid and outdated. Later Ajay Singh refused to transfer the shares to the complainant.
