Tamilnadu CM MKStain: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President M.K. Addressing a meeting of party representatives of urban local bodies here on Sunday, Stalin said that if he indulges in indiscipline and irregularities, then he will become a dictator and will take action.

Describing local bodies as the lifeline of democracy, Stalin said icons of social justice Periyar EV Ramasamy and Rajaji started their public life as heads of local bodies in Erode and Salem respectively.

Must follow the rules of law
Stalin pointed to several newly elected women representatives and advised them to work independently. He said that the elected representatives of the local bodies should follow the principles of law, fairness and justice and should serve the people.

He said that I warn that action will be taken against those who violate it. Not only will action be taken on behalf of the party but legal action will also be taken. Stalin said many of his close friends are telling him that I have become ‘too’ democratic. He said that if indiscipline and irregularities increase, then I will become a dictator and will take action.

The DMK leader said that the party has not got power so easily and it is the result of selfless work of crores of party workers and that is how he became the Chief Minister after his hard work for the people for the last five decades.
