Ramlala’s temple is being built with pink stones. These pink stones are being brought from Bansi Paharpur area of Rajasthan. Along with making them beautiful by carving these stones, the work of applying them has started from June 1. The temple construction committee has decided that the work of building the sanctum sanctorum and pavilion will be done on the ground floor first. Since the temple will be made of 3 floors, in such a situation, after completing the work of the first phase by December 2023, the work of the next phase will be started after arranging for Ramlala to stay in his permanent house.

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Ram temple on 9 November 2020. After this, on 5 August 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of the temple. According to the new model of the temple, there will be 5 pavilions in the temple. The height of the temple will be 161 feet, width is 255 feet and length will be 350 feet. The temple is being built at a height of 5 meters from the ground. In this 3-floor temple, at present, the work of the first sanctum sanctorum is going on on the ground floor.
Iron is not used in the temple
The special thing about the temple of Lord Ram is that the age of the temple should be 1000 years, its arrangements are being made. The foundation of the temple was first pressed by putting soil on it. A plinth has been made by putting granite on it. White marble will be installed on this granite stone. Iron is not being used anywhere in the temple. The age of iron is believed to be 90 to 100 years, so cement and copper clamps are being used to join the stones. The construction of the temple is being done on the suggestion of IIT, so that the strength of the temple can be maximum.
Before construction on the Ram Janmabhoomi complex located near Saryu, the first soil test was done for strength. After measuring the strength of the soil, the work of preparing the foundation was done. After filling the soil in the foundation, granite stones have been laid on it. Get an idea of how heavy these granite stones are, that a stone is 2.5 to 3 tons. After making the base of such a heavy granite, a temple is being built on it with pink stone.
The Ram Janmabhoomi dispute, which has been going on for 500 years in Ayodhya, ended on 9 November 2020 due to the decision of the Supreme Court and the decision came in favor of Ram temple. After this, on August 5, 2021, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of the temple, since then the construction work is going on. Started with plinth. After the completion of the plinth work, on June 1, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath started the work of the sanctum sanctorum by placing the first pink stone of the temple. After the construction of the sanctum sanctorum in the first phase, after settling Ramlala in his house, the work of the second floor and the top of the temple will be started under the second phase.
