Delhi Fire Tragedy Timeline: A massive fire broke out in a four-storey commercial building near Delhi’s Mundka metro station on Friday. In this painful accident, 27 people died and 12 people got serious burns. By the way, this is not the first incident of fire in Delhi, even before this there have been many such accidents in which many lives have been lost by burning alive in the fire. When did the fires happen in Delhi?

13 June 1997- A fire broke out during the show of Border film at Uphaar Cinema in Green Park, South Delhi. In the Uphaar Cinema fire tragedy, 59 lives were lost and more than 100 were injured.

31 May 1999- 57 killed and 27 injured in a fire in a chemical market in Lal Kuan

20 November 2011, A huge fire broke out in Nand Nagri area during the program of all religion conference of eunuchs. In the fire, 14 people were burnt alive while 40 eunuchs were seriously injured.

8 December 2019- 45 killed and 50 injured in a fire at a paper factory in Anaj Mandi on Rani Jhansi Road.

12 February 2019- A fire broke out in a four-storey hotel in Karol Bagh, killing 17 and injuring 35.

20 January 2018- 17 including 10 women were killed when a fire broke out at a firecracker factory in outer Delhi’s Bawana.
