University Grants Commission: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has given instructions to all the universities and higher educational institutions of the country that if any student wants to cancel his admission before October 31, then he will have to refund the full fee. At the same time, if the admission is canceled by December 31, the fee should be refunded after deducting the cancellation fee of one thousand rupees.
UGC secretary wrote a letter
The UGC said that due to the delay in the results of JEE Main, JEE Advanced, CUET UG, the universities will have admissions in the first year of undergraduate courses by October 2022. According to the information, UGC has taken this decision to save the parents from financial difficulties. UGC Secretary Prof. Rajnish Jain (UGC Secretary Prof. Rajnish Jain) has also written a letter to universities and states.
Results of many entrance exams are yet to come
The University Grants Commission had earlier written a letter to the universities that they should keep the application window open till the CBSE Board 12th class results are released. However, the results of other entrance examinations including JEE Main, JEE Advanced and CUET UG are yet to come. Because of this, it will take time to start a new session for the students of the first year of undergraduate program under the academic session 2022-23 in universities and higher educational institutions.
