UP Breaking News Live: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has announced his support to NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu for the presidential election. In a press conference on Tuesday, I want to make it clear that no one has put any pressure on me in the meeting of MPs on Tuesday. Many of our tribal leaders have requested me that for the first time tribal is becoming president. That’s why Shiv Sena is announcing its support.
NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu will reach Jaipur at 8 am on Wednesday. He has a program of personal meeting with BJP MPs and MLAs at Hotel Clark Amer in Jaipur. In which will formally appeal to vote. All BJP MPs and MLAs have been requested to reach the hotel at 8 am. It is noteworthy that the BJP has 71 MLAs in the 200-seat assembly of Rajasthan. The party has 24 Lok Sabha members and four Rajya Sabha members from Rajasthan.
UP will hear the bulldozer case in the Supreme Court today. The government has told that the ongoing action in UP is not related to the riots. The orders regarding the constructions that have been demolished had been issued months ago. Apart from UP, the petitions filed in the court regarding the bulldozer action of other states including Delhi are also up for hearing on Wednesday. In these petitions, there has been a demand to stop such action without due legal process.
The hearing of the Rakhi Singh vs Sarkar case in Varanasi’s Gyanvapi-Sringar Gauri case will continue in the district judge’s court today. The court is hearing on the maintainability of this case, that is, whether this matter is worth running in the court or not. After the completion of the arguments from the Muslim side on Tuesday, the Hindu side presented its arguments. The Hindu side will present its arguments even today.
After the hearing on Tuesday, Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain said that today we put our argument in the court, the objection which was raised that I am the state government’s lawyer. Cannot argue in this, that objection has been rejected by the court. The debate on the Hindu side has started. The debate on the Muslim side is over.
Varanasi’s Gyanvapi Masjid and self-styled god Vishweshwar dispute case will be heard once again in the Allahabad High Court today. The hearing will be held at 2 pm in the single bench of Justice Prakash Padia. In today’s hearing, the Hindu side has to present its arguments. If the time is saved, the UP government can also present its side. The court mainly has to decide that the case which was filed 21 years ago in the Varanasi court in 1991 regarding the dispute. It can be heard or not. The last hearing in this case was held on May 20.
The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court will further hear today the bail plea of Ashish Mishra alias Monu, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra, who was allegedly involved in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. During the last hearing on the petition of Ashish Mishra on July 11, the aggrieved party completed its argument. After which Justice Krishna Pahal fixed the date of July 13 to hear the argument of the state government.
