Lucknow News: In order to ensure better health services to the patients, Deputy CM and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak launched the ‘Swasthya Aapka Sankalp Sarkar Ka’ campaign on Wednesday. Under this, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak himself will talk to at least 10 patients or attendants of different districts on the phone every day. Will take feedback from them on the service they are getting during treatment in the hospital. Which hospital to call which patient will be decided on a random basis. On the basis of the feedback received from the patients, the functioning of the medical institutions will not only be improved but action will also be taken against those who are negligent.
On the first day of the campaign, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak spoke to 2-2 patients of Lucknow, Basti, Hardoi, Etah and Shahjahapur over the phone. Videos of conversations with these patients should also be shown to the media. While many patients were found satisfied, some also exposed the health services by telling the problem. Some patients told that doctors prescribed medicine from outside. One from Etah told that the doctor has written the medicine for dialysis from outside. On this Brijesh Pathak asked the name of the medicine. Brajesh Pathak told the media that lakhs of patients are coming to us. The whole team is working hard. Our endeavor is to treat everyone better. We are responsible for the medical health of all. Even in private hospitals, if the treatment of serious patients is going on, it is our effort to get those who need help. On the shortage of medicines in government hospitals, said that we are concerned about it. Supply is arranged properly. The investigation is going on regarding the expired claim of crores which was received recently. Whoever is guilty will take action. Brajesh Pathak said that those who mess up the ambulance will change them.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak told the figures related to the health services of the state in front of everyone today. Said that every day lakhs of patients are coming for treatment and efforts are being made to provide better facilities to all.
A total of 170 district level hospitals are operating in UP.
– 107 specialized hospitals with 100 or more beds are operating
– Patients are getting specialist medical facilities in 45 medical colleges, 14 medical colleges under construction
943 community and 3649 primary health centers in the state
– 25848 health sub-centres in rural areas of the state
– 2200 ambulances under 108 service to take the injured to the hospital in the state
– 2270 ambulances running for pregnant women
– 250 Advance Life Support Ambulance running for critical patients
Every day about 3 lakh patients come for treatment in OPD in government hospitals of the state.
In these, the number of patients coming daily to community and primary health centers is about 1 lakh.
Every day 1200 to 1500 people get injured in the accident and come to the hospital and trauma center for treatment.
Due to seasonal and general diseases, about one and a half lakh patients come to the hospitals every day.
1572 surgeons in government hospitals of the state, about 3 thousand operations are being done daily.
‘Everything will be back on track in a month’
On the other hand, UP’s DG Health Dr. Vedvrat Singh said on the improvement of health services that a proposal has been sent to the government to change 82 advanced life support ambulances and increase 125. At present there are 250 advanced life support ambulances in the state. All ACMOs have been instructed to conduct on-site inspection of CHC and PHC every week. Similarly, all CMOs have been instructed to conduct on-site inspection of the district hospital. All the additional directors have been instructed to inspect the divisional hospital. On the shortage of medicines and the meeting regarding it, DG Health said that they are taking action at every point on the procurement and the medicines that reach the warehouse from the company. Everything will be back on track in a month.
