Vodafone Idea Q4 Results: Telecom company Vodafone Idea has announced the financial results for the fourth quarter of 2021-22. Vodafone Idea has incurred a loss of Rs 6563.1 crore in the fourth quarter. However, this is less than the loss of Rs 7022.8 crore in the same quarter of the last year 2020-21.
Increased revenue due to increase in mobile tariff
Vodafone Idea’s revenue grew 6.46 percent to Rs 10,271.8 crore in the fourth quarter. Whereas in the fourth quarter of 2020-21, there was a revenue of Rs 9647.8 crore. The company says that due to the increase in the mobile tariff rate from November 25, 2021, the company’s revenue has increased.
7.5 percent jump in ARPU
Vodafone Idea’s average revenue per subscriber (ARPU) has increased by 7.5 percent in the fourth quarter and has increased from Rs 115 to Rs 124. The EBITDA of the company has also been Rs 2120 crore in the fourth quarter as against Rs 1620 crore in the third quarter.
huge debt on the company
The company says that its subscriber base has suffered due to the increase in mobile tariff, but the 4G subscriber base is increasing continuously. The company has a total outstanding debt of Rs 1,96,420 crore.
