Weather Today: Monsoon is continuing in most parts of the country at this time. Flood-like situation has arisen in many states due to incessant rains. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain with thunderstorms and thunderstorms in many areas of the country in the next 24 hours.
It is raining in many areas of the country’s capital Delhi since this morning. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Odisha for the next five days. Apart from this, heavy rain alert has been issued in many cities in Madhya Pradesh (MP).
Light rain will occur in these states
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in other states of the country today, Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand), Bihar (Bihar) and Jharkhand (Jharkhand), besides Assam, Nagaland and Sikkim. Apart from these states, on Friday, Punjab (Punjab), Haryana (Haryana), Delhi-NCR (Delhi-NCR), Himachal Pradesh (Himachal Pradesh), Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and western Rajasthan along with Saurashtra of Gujarat (Gujarat) and Light rain has been predicted in Kutch.
Weather condition in Uttar Pradesh
So far this year, drought conditions have arisen due to less rainfall in Purvanchal of Uttar Pradesh (UP) as compared to other states of the country. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert regarding rain in 43 districts of UP today. Along with rain, there is also a possibility of lightning in these districts.
The Meteorological Department has issued orders for UP’s Banda, Chitrakoot, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etawah, Agra, Firozabad, Maunpuri, Etah, Auraiya, Amroha, Rampur, Bareilly, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba Rain in , Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Jaunpur, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur City, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Jhansi and Lalitpur districts. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this.
Chances of good rain in August
According to meteorologists, till now the country has received eight percent more rainfall than the average. However, this year rains have been below average in some areas of UP, Bihar and Jharkhand. At the same time, in the month of July, there was good rain across the country. In Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra, there is a flood-like situation due to rain. According to the Meteorological Department, even in the month of August, good rains are expected in most of the states of the country.
