Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Wednesday responded to criticism for not putting the picture of the tricolor on its social media accounts. RSS’s Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambedkar told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that such things should not be politicised. The RSS has already extended support to the programs ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
In July, the Sangh had appealed for the full support and participation of people and volunteers in the programs organized by government and private bodies and organizations affiliated to the Sangh. Ambedkar was asked about the criticism on social media for not putting the picture of the tricolor on the RSS website and social media accounts despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal, to which he replied.
What did the RSS campaign chief say about putting up the tricolor?
Sunil Ambedkar said that such matters and programs should be kept away from politics. He said that politics should not be done in such matters. Without naming anyone, Ambedkar alleged that the party which was raising such questions was responsible for the partition of the country.
