David Warner: In the match played on Wednesday in the IPL, Delhi Capitals opener David Warner got good luck. While chasing the target of 161 runs against Rajasthan Royals, when Delhi’s team was only on 67 runs, David Warner was bowled by a delivery of Chahal but he remained not out as the stumps could not fall down. Later, Warner played an unbeaten 52 to give victory to Delhi.

This incident happened in the 9th over of Delhi’s innings. Chahal was doing his second over. Warner tried to hit a hard shot on the last ball of his over but he missed completely. The ball came out between his pad and the bat and went straight and touched the leg stump. The stump lights also got burnt, the gills were shaken from their place but could not fall down. According to the rule, if the bails do not fall down, then the player is not given out. In such a situation, Warner remained not out even after getting out.

Rajasthan bowler Chahal and captain Sanju Samson were also quite surprised due to the non-falling of the stumps. When Chahal told this to Warner, Warner also expressed surprise with a smile. When Warner got this life, he was playing after scoring 22 runs. Later he played an unbeaten innings of 52 runs.

Delhi defeated Rajasthan with the help of luck
Batting first, Rajasthan had scored 160 runs in this match. Batting on this wicket looked a bit difficult. In such a situation, it seemed that Rajasthan would defend this score of 160. The Rajasthan bowlers also started well. Delhi’s batsmen were able to score only 5 runs in the first three overs, while their one wicket had also fallen. But after this, Rajasthan had to lose the match unfortunately due to not taking a review of Marsh’s LBW, a few catches being dropped and Chahal’s delivery not falling on the stumps.
